A Case Report on the Case of "YookWi"

Abstract

|
Objectives: There were few reports on the treatment of "YookWi" by oriental medicine. The study on the effect of the treatment conducted on the "Yookwi" patient will suggest the treatment plan for the more effective treatment.
Methods: The acupuncture was accomplished by "Geum-Eum(金陰)" type method. The herbal medicine was given and the mat exercise was done one time a day.
Results: After treatment, a remarkable improvement was not made for muscular strength. But the body weight and the circumferences of arm and thigh were little increased.
Conclusions: The more study of the effective treatment on "Yookwi" is needed.
